The Queensland Government has provided $2,500+gst to Warwick Gliding Club for activities to support our members and volunteers and to enable Queenslanders to participate in sport and recreation activities. We are grateful for the support of the Queensland Government

Warwick Gliding Club would like to acknowledge the funding allocation of $2,000 by the Queensland Government for the purchase of a defibrillator as a 2020 Election Commitment that the Department of Tourism, Innovation and Sport are assisting to deliver.

Warwick Gliding Club was successful with the Southern Downs Regional Council 2021/22 Community Grant - Round Two — CG-2122-R2-001 — Supply and install Stiebel Eltron instant hot water unit. This means we can have hot water generated from our own solar power in the Clubhouse.

Many thanks to the Council for again supporting Warwick Gliding Club in upgrading our facilities and becoming more energy efficient.

Many thanks to Southern Downs Regional Council

WPS is finally back and ready to provide reliable tug services for many years to come.

A new engine has been installed and other maintenance works done on the fuselage.

Many thanks to Mal, our dedicated tug Master who has worked very hard to ensure every detail was completed up to the standard

New versions of the Emergency Response and Safety Plans have been added to the Operations Manuals on the Document Library.

Please take the  time to read and understand these procedures documents.

Hard copies of these manuals are also available at the club House and Pie Cart.

Dear club members,
We were successful with the QLD government Active Restart Infrastructure Recovery Funding grant application and received a grant of $6700 even though the application was oversubscribed.
The grant was for a new solar system to be installed on the clubhouse.
A new solar system should mean we can meet all our electricity needs.
